Course programme
Learn the basics of photography and how to get the best out of your DSLR. I can explain all the dials, buttons and menus, and help you understand the abbreviations and icons displayed on your camera's information screen. Understand the different shooting modes, such as Aperture Priority and Shutter Priority, learn about depth of field, how to use a histogram, when and why you should use a different White Balance setting, how the ISO button can be your 'get out of jail card'. Learn how to compose better pictures and take control over your camera's settings. Learn about lenses - what factors influence your choice of which lens to use in different situations, and what to look for when buying. What about filters? Find out how your photography can be transformed with a polarising filter or a graduated neutral density filter.
