Dynamic Web Design Using JavaScript

What's the course about?

The unit covers the most common applications of JavaScript: forms, data validation, event handlers and other dynamic event-driven and time-driven features. It also includes some material on validating the source code and HTML standards.

Areas covered include:

  • JavaScript concepts and syntax
  • Forms and data validation
  • Event handlers and dynamic web pages

Students will be expected to create a simple web site that uses JavaScript for different purposes.

Students will gain a pass, merit, or distinction.

How long is the course and when will it be taught?

Students can attend one three hour session per week for 10 weeks or two three hour sessions per week for five weeks.
