e-Learning Advanced Life Support Training (e-ALS)

The e-ALS course comprises 1-day e-learning and 1-day face-to-face.

The course programme consists of lectures, workshops, skill stations and cardiac arrest simulations (i.e.CASTeach).

The e-learning content replaces the first day of the 2-day course. Candidates are given access to online resources from one month prior to the course. At their own pace they will then study approximately 7 hours of on-line course material before attending a 1-day face-to-face course.

Access to the e-learning materials continues for a total of 5 months. The eALScourse is designed for healthcare professionals who would be expected to apply the skills taught as part of their clinical duties, or to teach them on a regular basis.

Assessments are based on clinical scenarios that allow the candidate to effectively demonstrate the core competencies that have been taught on the course.
