Candidates will be required to demonstrate English skills at level 2. Also, although not essential, candidates would benefit by having an introductory teaching qualification such as the Level 3 Award in Education and Training.

Course programme

Year 1

You will study 3 modules, totaling 12 credits. In particular, emphasis is placed on the use of online tools and mobile devices to enhance learning in and outside of the classroom, using technology for assessment, and maximising your Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). This is a practical, hands on course with plenty of opportunities to practise and develop your knowledge and skills.

Additional information

You will be assessed via the creation of a blog, microteach and the virtual learning environment you will have developed.
