Course Content:
This course consists of IT Principles which is a mandatory core unit and completion of two optional units from the following: word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation graphics, internet, email, integrated applications and desktop publishing. The enhanced diploma which consists of the core unit plus five of the optional units may be available at some centres.

The course will develop you practically for the most widely used ICT applications, and give you the skills needed to enter into the ICT job market or have more confidence in using your computer at home or at work. The course will expand your knowledge of standard ICT hardware and software and improve your ability to operate equipment correctly and safely. Progression:
Successful students can progress to the e-Quals Advanced Diploma for IT Users (Level 3) or the iTQ NVQ for IT Users (Level 3).
