  • Initially the hall wasn't good but then the University moved in a new building and they have other student halls now, so I have no idea what else is happening.

  • All the tutors are extremely supportive. The course enabled me to take part in a nursery-based placement and I enjoyed every minute of it.

As research leaders our academics are widely published across key topics such as multilingualism, diversity, and childhood development. Our degree will extend your knowledge, skills and understanding of early childhood studies and blends theory with practice by offering a placement in an early years setting (which earns you credits towards your degree).

Prior to commencing the course, you must pass Department for Education professional skills tests in numeracy and literacy. You are advised to pass them before your interview wherever possible in order to give yourself the best possible chance of success. However if you haven't passed at the time of the interview and you receive an offer it will be conditional on passing the tests by a nominated date.
