You will study a mixture of units designed to give you an insight into the many different aspects of the childcare industry.
The aim of this qualification is to prepare learners to work with children between birth and five years, with knowledge of children up to seven years. Learners will need to be working, volunteering or on a practical placement as an important part of the assessment process involves evaluating skills in real working situations. CACHE recommends 250 placement hours.
The programme also includes studying Math’s and English functional skills, or towards GCSE grade A-C if you do not already have these grades.
