ECDL Extra Level 2

In this course students will learn about hardware and applications with the emphasis on developing existing skills.
Students will set up email accounts and learn to use the internet and the college web site.
The aim is to enable students to become capable and confident practitioners of IT
Entry RequirementsSuccessful completion of ECDL Essential Level 1
Course Content
ECDL Extra level 2 is made up of 4 Modules:·Word processing·Spreadsheets·Presentations·Improving productivity using IT
There is a mixture of practical work and theory with the emphasis on the practical.
There will be opportunities to study at home as well as in class to build up skills.
How will I be assessed?
All 4 modules are assessed through pre-set external tests.
The ECDL Certificate is issued by the British Computer Society
What can I do next?
ECDL Advanced, CLAIT Plus, C&G 7262, E Quals, GNVQ ICT Advanced part or single award, Web page creation, or Programming.
