Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to have used a computer before the start of this course?
Yes. This course covers a lot of information and has timed assessments at the end of each module. Those with little or no computer experience may find CLAIT the better course to start with.

Do I need access to a computer at home to attend this course?
It would allow revision of the tasks covered in college but is not a requirement. Taught classes do require work to be done outside of the classroom, but our adult facilities do have computers that can be used outside of the classroom time.

How is the course assessed?
There is a 45 minute assessment at the end of each module.

Do you take the assessments for all the modules at the same time?
No, each assessment is taken at the end of a module before moving on to the next module.

What happens if I fail an assessment?
We provide feedback and guidance on what to practice and then we will arrange a resit. This is normally done outside of the usual class time.
