EFL (Upper Intermediate)
Your Course
The aims of this course are to develop existing knowledge of grammar, to increase vocabulary and to work on reading, writing, listening and speaking.
Course materials will focus on real English which students will be able to practise in their daily lives. There will be a mixture of authentic and published materials designed to develop skills in a communicative and fun way.
Some students at this stage go on to take the Cambridge First Certificate (FCE) or Advanced (CAE) exams and the course will allow students to practise the skills needed for these exams.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be a testing session at 5.50pm on the first week to check your level.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the 10 week course you will have been given the opportunity to:
· Communicate more spontaneously and effectively
· Use a greater range of day to day English
· Manipulate and understand grammatical structures better
· Gain a passive understanding of many more common idioms - particularly phrasal verbs.

Tuition fees: £90
Method of payment: Fees for short courses (10 weeks or less) to be paid in full at enrolment and for long courses (12 weeks or more) fees of 50% can be paid at enrolment plus 50% as a cheque. Course places cannot be reserved without receipt of both payments.

Please note that there are no classes during half term Monday 15th - Friday 19th February 2010 unless otherwise stated.
