Students will be learning: *Use of test equipment (Meters, oscilloscopes, signal generators and power supplies) *Identification of Components * Building electronic circuits such as oscillators and amplifiers * Soldering * Reading circuit diagrams * Testing and faultfinding There are three units: * D. C. Technology, components and circuits. * A.C. Technology and electronic components. * Electronic devices and testing. Assessment Method of assessment -Continuous coursework Assessment and an external exam. Aims achieved - * NVQ 2 C and G 2248-02 * Progression NVQ 3
