This is a two day a week course for those who have successfully completed the City & Guilds 2330 level 2 or the 2365 level 2 Diploma.

There are a number of modules including Inspection and Testing, Fault Finding & Rectification, Electrical System Design plus associated theory. This is a higher level course and the assessment process requires handwritten and multiple choice exams, as well as the completion of assignments.

You must have satisfactorily completed the City & Guilds 2330 level 2 course, or the 2365 level 2 Diploma. If you are moving on from another course to this one, a satisfactory reference is also required.

Course Assessment Method

The full award is obtained upon successful completion of all seven components. The assessments will be:

1 Multiple Choice online (computer-based) exam; 4 Practical Assessments; 2 Written, long answer exams. 9 Assignments.

There are 7 compulsory units:

  • IEE Wiring Regulations.

Health & Safety is inbuilt to all units.
