The objective of this course are to give individuals the necessary skills and knowledge to be able to administer first aid appropriately in an emergency. Training in first aid will give you the confidence to deal with emergencies and enable employers to meet their requirements regading health and safety in the workplace. Suitable for: An employer who's Health and Safety assessment of first aid highlights the need for qualified first aiders or for a group who wish to take advantage of the discounts available for group bookings and who want training as part of their personal or professional development.

The Health and Safety Executive Approved course in Emergency first aid at work - EFAW training will cover a wide range of first aid techniques. This will enable the candidates to deal with an emergency situation ith confidence and provide prompt, safe and effective treatment to a casualty.
It is a requirement of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, that employers should provide a safe environment for their employees. If the assessment of first aid highlights the need for qualified first aiders, then this course will provide you with suitable training.
It is also suitable for individuals who want or require training for personal or professional development.
The Emergency First Aid at Work - EFAW course takes place over one day and is suitable for staff training on your own premises. We also run courses open to individuals and groups at our Hastings training centre, suitable for those in Bexhill, Eastbourne, Battle, Brighton, East Sussex and surrounding areas.
Candidates will need to demonstrate competency to the instructor throughout the course and complete a multiple choice test to reinforce the skills learnt.
