Emergency First Aid at Work is designed to teach learners Basic First Aid at Work skills, with the knowledge to be able to respond to emergency First Aid situations in the workplace. The session will provide skills and knowledge for appropriate care and management of life threatening conditions, minor illnesses and injuries.

Course programme

There are no specific pre-requisite qualifications but there is an element of communication (discussing, presenting, reading and writing) involved and learners should have basic skills in communication pitched at Level 2. Learners must be physically able to demonstrate the practical skills required, to satisfy the course assessment.
