Entry requirements Students should possess 4 GCSE level passes at Grade C in Mathematics, English, Science and another appropriate subject, or, satisfactory completion of a BTEC Level 2 qualification to merit standard., , Applicants not possessing the above qualifications but having substantial appropriate industrial experience, and/or equivalent qualifications will also be considered., 4. Equipment required No equipment required 5. Assessment method To gain the qualification students must pass or gain exemption in all units. The assessment procedure for each unit involves the completion of a programme of assignments and some in-course tests. A grade of pass, merit or distinction can be achieved within each unit., , All assessment procedures are subject to scrutiny by EdExcel who are the awarding body. The student must satisfy the verifier that he/she has reached a minimum of a pass grade at all stages of the assessment programme. The final grade for each student will be an accumulation of grades obtained at all stages of the assessment programme.,
