Our Master's in Engineering Management with Industrial Practice has been developed to respond to the specific needs of the manufacturing and engineering sectors. The course offers a clear and focused alternative to traditional MBA degrees, and includes a year of study followed by a one-year sponsored internship.

Students combine lab-based exercises with lectures, seminars, simulations and workshops to explore issues including finance and business planning, sustainability, global engineering and supply chain management. About this course

A BEng or BSc honours degree normally at 2.2 or above or equivalent level qualification in an engineering or computing discipline OR substantial workplace experience.

You will complete a supervised individual project that runs throughout the academic year.
Students secure a year-long, fully paid placement as an opportunity to put your first-year knowledge into practice.
You are responsible for securing your placement (with our help). But if this is not completed, you can still graduate with an award without industrial practice.
Graduates can pursue a management career in both the public and private sectors.
