Content / Overview:
This one-year course is designed for students who have narrowly missed achieving a grade C in the past. It is enjoyable and stimulating, consisting of written and spoken coursework and two final exams, which include poetry, a novel and a Shakespeare play. Help and support will be given to enable you to produce your best possible pieces of coursework. You will also be involved in class discussion and presentations. The qualification is valued by all employers and universities and required as an essential by many. A Literacy Certificate Level 2 course is offered to students who have below a grade D in GCSE English Language. It will allow you to develop your written skills and provide a useful qualification for entering the workplace.

Necessary for many Level 3 and Higher Education courses and employment.
