English through Drama Summer School (for Groups)

This course aims to improve your English through the medium of drama & is for closed agent-sent groups. It is aimed at actors from abroad who are looking to improve their chances of finding work in London, foreign English language students with a love of acting/film/theatre and language students who just want to improve their English in a fun way. At the end of the course, students will have perfected their own 'audition piece' which is an essential tool for any actor.

During the course, students will learn:

• Greater spoken fluency and confidence
• Voice projection
• Improved grammar through teacher-student correction
• Vocal warm-up techniques
• Pronunciation and articulation
• 'Received Pronunciation' (RP)
• To recognise and reproduce different regional accents in UK and US English

In each lesson, students study reading, writing, listening and speaking. We are very flexible at ICE and you can choose the number of sessions per week you study and the course that suits you. Maximum group size is 15 students.
