There are no formal entry requirements although you will need to complete an entry interview and initial assessment.Young people will also need to meet the following criteria:Have left school, but not yet 19Not at school or college Not in government funded training If you are 19-24 you may still be able to do E2E, depending on your circumstances.

What are the Course Details?
The programme begins with an initial assessment and induction period for up to six weeks, which takes place within the College. Trainees work with their training officer to agree an individual training plan and hours of attendance.

Is the Course for Me?
This course is designed for young people currently not in education, employment or training or who may require a range of additional support to enable them to do so. E2E is aimed at young people who may not know what they want to do in life, or are not sure which way they want to go and need a bit of help getting the skills they need to go on a course, into Apprenticeships or into a job.

What will I Learn?
As part of this course you will learn life skills, gain short one to two day nationally recognised qualifications, plus have an opportunity to work towards Level 1 qualifications, which fit around your needs.
E2E covers a wide range of work-related areas such as:
Construction- painting and decorating, brickwork, joinery and plumbing. Units you will study include:
  • Health and Safety at Work
  • Physical Fitness, Sports Activities and Dance
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Team Work
  • Computer Skills
  • Improving your English and Maths
  • Confidence Building
  • Look After Yourself
  • Anger Management
  • Independent Living
  • Citizenship
  • First Aid

Learners will also work towards a profile of achievement.

How will I Learn?
The E2E programme helps learners on a one-to-one basis or in small groups and includes workplace and recreational activities.


How will I be Assessed?
Learners will be assessed through direct observation and assessment.

What Enrichments are Available?
Learners will have access to a wide range of enrichment activities within the College to develop and broaden their experience of College life. Enrichment activities include joining sports teams, playing golf and taking part in organised trips such as paintballing or to Meadowhall.

Are there any Trips or Visits?
Yes. Trips are arranged throughout the course to improve teamwork, confidence and self-esteem.

Is there any Work Experience?
Work experience is arranged in various vocational areas to meet the individual's needs and requirements.

What can I Progress to?
After successfully completing this course learners can progress to various part-time/full time employment. Alternatively, learners can progress to appropriate further education courses or Apprenticeships in various vocational areas.

Other Learner Experiences
Learners who successfully complete this course progress either onto higher level courses or into employment.

Acceptance onto courses may be subject to a satisfactory interview and references. For some courses learners may also be required to pay for a CRB disclosure.
