What will I learn?

The course will cover a range of topics such as: principles of sustainable development; energy and waste management; understanding sustainable communities; ecology and conservation; biological and physical processes; environmental science; pollution control & management; and coastal & water management

How will I be assessed?

Assessment is coursework-based You will do reports, essays, projects, scientific investigations and practical observation assessments

What may it lead to?

You can progress into Higher Education courses (such as a Higher National Diploma (HND) Environmental Conservation at Canterbury College or university) or go into employment

Entry Requirements

You should have four GCSEs at grade C (including English, Maths and Science) or a Level 2 Diploma at Merit (or an equivalent qualification) Entry onto the course is subject to an interview

Work Experience

You will be given the opportunity to undertake work experience in the environmental sustainability sector during the course
