Equality and Diversity Rights and Responsibilities

Introduction
Employees expect to be treated fairly and considerately. This is generally supported by law. It is illegal to discriminate against people at work on the grounds of: Age, Disability, Gender, Race, Religion or Belief and Sexual Orientation.
It makes good sense to put into place effective policies to support equality and diversity in the workplace.
This day will enable you to do just that.

• Case studies - women's survey
• Learning points - action plan
• Participants will be involved in many activities to use their strengths to the best effect. There will be discussions, syndicate work and case studies.
