Equine Myofascial Release Techniques Level I
Participants are trained in the theory, concepts and practice of Myofascial Release as it pertains to the equine population. Following the course the students will immediately be able to produce positive structural changes whether the issue be an acute or long standing dysfunction with this full body approach.
Course modules include: theory of myofascial, osseous and related structures, anatomy biomechanics conformation and definition of common equine injuries. Practical myofascial releases application including physical evaluation and gait analysis, techniques used in lumbar and pelvic regions, lower extremities, anterior and posterior thoracic region, atlas, axis and cervical spine, myofascial osseous release, myofascial stretching and therapeutic exercise.
Prerequisites: Completion of the Equine Body Worker® Certification Course or comparable programme which included Stress Point Therapy
