What qualification will I receive?
You will take a College certificate at the end of each semester.

It will enable you to progress to the next language level.
What will I study?
You will develop and practise all the language skills - speaking, listening, reading and writing. You will also work on and vocabulary and spelling.
How will I be taught?
Your teachers will use a variety of learning materials and classroom activities. In addition you will be able to improve your English using computers. All students are encouraged to use the Learning Resource Centre, which has a large selection of books, tapes, videos and computer language programmes chosen to help you with your studies. Free access to language websites on the Internet is also available.
How will I be assessed?
You will have regular homework and tests. A College Certificate is taken in January and June.
What support is available while I am on the course?
You will have an individual learning plan and regular meetings with your tutor to discuss your progress on the course. The college offers a comprehensive range of student services including careers advice and guidance.
