Course programme
Create new or bring existing etching plates which can be developed using a range of colour applica-tion techniques including à la poupée, chine collé, colour viscosity printing and using stencils and blend rolls to create beautiful richly-layered colour prints.
Demonstration and practical application supported by written instructions. One-to-one and group discussion. Please bring to the first session any previously worked etching plates and/or sketches ideas or other visual resources to create a new image. Basic materials will be provided but you are welcome to bring any drawing equipment or tools and alternative papers for printing. Specialist printing paper can also be purchased at cost in the class.
