What is the European Computer Driving Licence course?
The European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) is an internationally recognised qualification and will confirm to employers that you have a good working knowledge of computers and an up-to-date qualification.

ECDL Extra provides the natural progression for ECDL Essentials candidates to allow them to complete their full ECDL or can be offered as a stand-alone product. It provides Level 2 coverage of the popular office applications

It is essential that you know how to use the mouse efficiently and have a good knowledge of the keyboard or have completed an introductory computer course before enrolling.

Teaching and Learning
This is a tutor led course with every student allocated a computer.

Once you have completed each unit, an assessment will be carried out. Should there be a need for you to resit a module this can be arranged with the tutor.

Assessment details
To gain this qualification you must pass all four assessments

• ITQ Level 2 and 3

£15 registration fee

Extra costs:
Book approximately £20, re-sits £11 per unit, writing materials, A4 filed, and USB Memory Sticks
