You will need five GCSEs Grade C or above including one art based subject, or an equivalent Level 2 qualification at Merit or an educational background that demonstrates the potential to succeed at Level 3.

At interview, your application must be supported by examples of art, design and photography ability and should include a portfolio of images produced by you on a theme of your choice.

There is a material fee payable for this course per year, which you will be advised of prior to enrolment. You may be eligible to apply for financial assistance to help meet these costs

This is an advanced level course.  On completion of year one you will achieve the 90 Credit Diploma in Photography.

On completion of the two year course, achievement at Distinction *(D*D*D*) attracts 420 UCAS points (equivalent to 3 A levels). This qualification will take you directly onto a BA Hons. Degree or Foundation Degree (subject to obtaining the required number of UCAS points).

You will be invited into college for an interview. The interview is a two way process and it will allow you to ask any questions that you may have regarding the course. On application you will be sent a task that you should complete and bring with you at interview. You will also be required to bring into college a portfolio of photography work that you feel relevant for the tutor to see. The portfolio could include GCSE/AS Level photography for example. The tutor will ask you questions about your choice.
