Eye Make-Up Certificate

The course will cover the following in detail: Brushes Needed We will start by showing you the professional brushes needed for eye make-up so that you know what you should have in your kit. We provide all brushes, so you will learn how to use these brushes during the course of the lesson. Face Preparation You will need to ensure that you prepare the face correctly so that the make-up applied has a professional finish and is also long lasting. Order of Applying Make-Up We will run through the most common order of applying make-up so that you know at what stage the eye make-up enters the process, and so that you are also aware of the ways to ensure that you carry out the correct steps before applying the eye make-up itself. Eye Make-Up This section covers all the aspects of applying eye make-up: - Prep - Eye Shadow - Blending - Shading - Eye Liner - Mascara False Eyelashes We will show you how to apply both individual lashes and full strips. Creating Smokey Eyes You will learn how to create smokey eyes - we will teach you a couple of techniques so that if you are short of time, you can still create a strong smokey eye look in half the time that the traditional method takes. We will also discuss and try out ideas on how to be creative with smokey eyes. Assessment You will be asked to create 1 look based on the skills you have learnt. You will receive our one to one attention so that you receive honest feedback in order to make you the best make-up artist you can be. Your assessment is not there to catch you out, but instead will prove that you are ready to launch your career as a professional make-up artist. Most make-up courses only provide a certificate for simply attending, but our assessments mean that your certificate actually means you are good at what you do.
