Course Description:

Students will learn the basics and more advanced work in handknitting and knitwear design, some basic machine knitting, hand-crochet and felting techniques. They will learn to follow and adapt commercially available patterns, and to develop their own ideas into finished items. We will work on accessories and develop ideas into garments as the course progresses. We will also cover the properties and production of various types of fibres.
