Overview
This course is aimed at those who want to forge a career in the planning and management of a range of events such as conferences, fundraising, exhibitions, concerts, sports events, festivals, weddings, corporate events, charity events, and fashion shows.

We take advantage of our London location, giving you the opportunity to attend high-profile events and a variety of venues to gain exposure to the industry in action. As well as live event projects, you’ll learn through practical teaching such as case studies and team projects, to understand the fundamentals of event management.

This is a work relevant course that combines academic study with practical skills, helping students to put theory into practice in a work related environment.

With a core understanding of the intricacies of event management and hospitality, combined with work experience and exposure to an array of events across London, you will gain transferable skills for a range of careers in international or UK events management.
On successful completion you will be able to progress on to our BA (Hons) Event Management with Hospitality top-up degree.

Entry requirements
You will need 180 UCAS tariff points in a minimum of 2 subjects. These can include:
A Levels at grade B and C, or above
BTEC Extended Diploma with Merit, Merit, Pass
Access to HE Diploma
You also need GCSE English and Maths (grade A*-C) or Level 2 equivalents.
If you do not hold the above qualifications but possess relevant work experience, you are invited to apply. Your application will be considered on an individual basis.
