The minimum entry requirement is relevant experience of work (typically six months) within a school or similar setting either as a volunteer or through employment. It is desirable that applicants have the equivalent of a Level 3 qualification but this is not essential.

Course programme
In Year 1, you will be introduced to the concepts and theories of management and employee engagement, as well as the practical application of management skills. The process of leading and managing change will be examined, in addition basic elements of financial and data management.
In Year 2, you will analyse and examine leadership theories and styles, ethics and corporate social responsibility, marketing and commercial practice, and human resources strategy relating to employment law.
How will I study?A combination of academic study and practical, work-based learning will give you all the knowledge and skills you need to succeed.
The programme is typically delivered in one session (afternoon and evening) a week, over ten-week blocks.
