Course programme

In this workshop you will explore the relationship between your eyes, jaw, neck and connection with your whole self.
We will also look at sitting, standing, pre-sleep routines, neuroplasticity and some basic anatomy.

This course is based on experiential learning and is verbally led. The movements are explored at your own pace and comfort with regular mini rests. Many of the movements will be done lying on the mat. There may be an opportunity for some pairwork. The tutor may give some short presentations on relevant topics.

Additional information

The best thing to wear is comfortable and loose clothing. The movements are gentle so you need to make sure you will be warm enough for the duration of the workshop, as your body temperature may drop. General information and advice on courses at City Lit is available from the Student Centre and Library on Monday to Friday from 12:00 – 19:00. See the course guide for term dates and further details
