You will study popular cinema (Hollywood), film form, narrative and other aspectscinema as an institution. British film is also studied, as is the context, past and present of film. Full-time classes meet for three 90 minute.

Film Studies
Course Description
A systematic study of cinema and film, including film criticism and informed film study. It takes film to be amongst the most significant of the mass media and art forms. You will study popular cinema (Hollywood), film form, narrative and other aspectscinema as an institution. British film is also studied, as is the context, past and present of film. Full-time classes meet for three 90 minute sessions every week. The evening class is held on Wednesday evenings in Roby Centre.
Entry Requirements
5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, usually including English and Maths.
