Gary Williams
Training Director
Gary undertook his formal training at the Ivor Spencer International School for Butler Administrators in London. The school has been established since 1981 and His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales invested Ivor Spencer with the MBE at Buckingham Palace in 2002. Gary was appointed in his first butler position as one of only two butlers at The Ritz London. Here he was responsible for overseeing all the suites, including The Royal Suite. He was then head-hunted to be Major Domo for one of England's most prominent families, looking after Studley Royal House and for celebrity and VIP clients with various properties worldwide, regularly managing over 50 staff members. From here, Gary was appointed as head butler at the Brazilian embassy in London, a position that had over 180 applicants. He has also set up Quintessentially Butlers, part of the Quintessentially Group, the world’s leading private members’ club with a global concierge that provides a unique brand of service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
