The course includes; Dealing with casualties requiring cardio pulmonary resuscitation, who are unconscious, bleeding, suffering from shock, injuries to bones, muscles and joints.
Dealing with casualties who have been burned, have an eye injury, been overcome by gas or fumes or may have been poisoned.
Recognising minor and major illnesses and taking appropriate action including heart attacks.
Acting safely in first aid emergencies, understanding duties of employers and legal requirements.
