Course Description
This course will introduce you to the Travel & Tourism Industry and provides a good basis for more advanced work-related qualificatons. You will learn by completing projects and assignments based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands.You'll take part in a number of visits and study for an English and Maths Key Skills and an IT qualification. (The C&G First Diploma is a practical, work related course. It is equivalent to four GCSEs grades A*-C)

Entry Requirements
4 GCSEs Grade D, incl. English. (Maths D for some courses). Or Pass in Level 1 Vocational Qual., Merit for BTECs, plus Key Skills Level 1 Comm. (App. of Number for some courses) or equivalent. Diplomas require Functional Skills in ICT, Maths and English.

Assessment: The assignments will be a mix of written work, assessment of practical tasks and multiple-choice online tests. You will be assessed through course work, marked and graded by the teachers. The work is graded Pass, Credit and Distinction.
