What will I study?
This qualification covers planning, coaching and evaluating
coaching sessions with children, young people and those with
disabilities, child protection and health and safety.
What can I do next?
This can lead to work as a football coach. You can also progress
to the NVQ Level 3 Coaching, Teaching and Instructing Football
course.
There is also the chance to gain extra coaching Level 1 and
possibly Level 2 qualifications

You will need a passion and interest in sport. You will have
either completed a BTEC First or you will need to have an
assessment.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is by observation, worksheets, assignments, written
exams and group discussions.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
