To teach relevant skill requirements and job safety knowledge to operators who may be required to operate a conventional lift truck (C/B or Reach) from time to time as an ancillary part of their employment. It is not intended as a course of basic training for operators who are required to operate FLTs on a full time basis. Suitable for: Operators who have previous operating experience and may be required to operate a forklift as an ancillary part of their work

Course Summary
Learn how to operate a conventional forklift truck safely and effectively.
On completion of the course you will be familiar with the principles of safety and stability along with safe operating procedures. The course covers machine introduction, daily checks including refuelling and battery maintenance, steering, stacking and loading skills, fitting and the use of attachments, vehicle loading and unloading.
As a record of your acheivement, a TAL certificate of training is provided.
