Is it for me?
This course will develop your knowledge and skills in a range of areas including; criminal justice, digital evidence, computer/network security and digital forensic tools & techniques.

What do I need?
You should already be working in an ICT support role such as technical support and have one of the following:

• An A Level or GNVQ Advanced plus 3 passes at GCSE grade C
• A relevant qualification such as a National Certificate/ Diploma, Advanced GNVQ, AVCE pass or two HEFCs.
• Experience as an IT Technician will also be considered.

What will I study?
You will study a variety of modules including:

• Internet technologies
• Network security
• Digital forensics
• System fundamentals
• Criminal justice.

Baltic Campus
You'll be based at our fantastic £39million Baltic campus on the quayside. The campus has a prime location on Gateshead quayside, and state-of-the-art facilities including a Jacuzzi, gym and sauna, a 200 seat theatre, state-of-the-art classrooms, training kitchen and restaurant, refectory, bistro and vending areas.

What can I do next?
If you successfully complete this internationally recognised qualification you can progress on to an ICT Degree at the University of Sunderland.
