Foundation Degree In IT & Business

- A levels in related subjects: 60-80 points plus GCSEs in English and Mathematics (grades A-C).
- BTEC ND/NC/Advanced GNVQ in related subject: Merit profile.
- Advanced VCE in related subject: 60-80 points.
- Access Certificate: Welcomed.

This new scheme allows students to develop up-to-date skills in both Information Studies and Business Studies. The second year of study includes a work-related Project, aiming to deepen the vocational relevance of the course.

Further Study: You may be able to progress to the final year of honours degree study on degree courses matched to the Foundation Degree through the programme’s links with the University of Hertfordshire.
Possible careers: A wide range of technical and management careers in business & computing.

Year 1: Students are liable for tuition fees of £3000 to the University of Hertfordshire. A Consortium College Award of £1500 is payable to every student in two separate payments of £750 dependent on the student's attendance on their chosen course. This can be used for an early payback of tuition fees or to supplement living expenses.
Year 2: Students progressing to the second or subsequent year of their course will be liable for fees of £1200 to the University of Hertfordshire. There is no Consortium College Award.
In addition all students enrolling on a full time course will be subject to an annual £10 access payment.
