Who is the course for?
the course is available to workers employed in an engineering or manufacturing establishement, wishing to enhance their career opportunities.

What is the course about?

Will I need anything else?
You will need notebooks and stationary, a scientific calculator, and a range of technical drawing equipment. A home computer or laptop will also be required.

How long & often do I attend?
The course extends over two semesters of twelve weeks each, starting each September

Assessment process
Validated through Staffordshire University
Approved Prior learning will be considered
Examinations
Project work (large emphasis especially for the work based project
Assignments
Product evidence to help with work based element
Work Based Learning focus
Must be employed in an appropriate skill area
Company must support your programme, as the work based project is a major element of the qualifcation
Must build a 'Project Evidence'file, which will include company information such as project plans, evaluations, etc.
Must regularly meet with mentor/tutor for support and assessment.
