The Programme
This vocationally focused course is aimed at music producers who wish to develop their skills to a professional level and gain an in depth understanding of the music industry. A key feature of this course is its dual focus on technology and creativity.
The Programme Content
The course is based in our music and arts venue and is extremely well resourced with individual workstations for every student providing a production and communication learning environment in our new custom built suite. The main recording studio features an Allen & Heath GS3000 Mixer, Pro Tools HD recording on Mac G5 and a comprehensive set of quality outboard facilities. There is another Pro Tools suite at the main campus and a project and mixing room at the off site campus. Software includes Pro Tools, Logic, Reaktor, Final Cut and Dreamweaver.

Entry Requirements
Mode of Study
Full time over two years.
Timetabled Days
Stage 1: Wednesday to Friday
Stage 2: Monday to Wednesday
Costs
Students will need to provide DVDs, CDs, good quality headphones and will find a large capacity USB pen/hard drive of real benefit. There will be some printing and photocopying costs incurred and some technical reference books will be strongly recommended.
