The Foundation Diploma will enable you to develop a broad understanding of the Childrens Services, health, community justice and adult social care sectors.

The topics you will study include:

· Exploring the sectors
· Health, wellbeing and lifestyle
· Growth and development
· Is it safe?
· Working together
· Meeting needs.

The course will develop your personal learning, thinking skills and ability to work as part of a team. In addition to this the course will also help develop your analytical, creative, problemsolving and interpersonal skills. During the course you will have the opportunity to achieve additional qualifications in English, Maths and IT as well as industry relevant qualifications.

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed continuously during the course through a range of assignments, investigations and practical assessments. You will
undertake work experience and complete a work-related project.
