Introduction
This is a practical course for young people with little or no experience in engineering and who need to improve their confidence along with their reading and writing skills before moving on to another course. You may not have been the best at school but you know in your own mind that you want to do something practical. You have every chance of making a fresh start and being the best at Reaseheath! Many of our engineers have started with this course and worked their way into successful jobs.

About the course
The course is very practical with half your time spent in the classroom and the other half engaged in practical activities. Working in groups, you will develop your hand skills and learn basic engineering that will prepare you for the world of work or set you up for the next level course. You will progress at your own pace and there will always be support on hand to help you with your reading and writing.
You will be surprised how quickly you learn when you are studying something that you like and before you know it you will have achieved a nationally recognised engineering qualification.
