You can choose up to five subjects to study to prepare for your degree
During this course you'll explore a range of subjects and get back into the swing of studying again.
As well as improving your language and numeracy skills you'll develop your confidence in writing essays and reports, undertaking research, analysing numbers, doing presentations, managing your time and working as part of a team.
Throughout this course you'll be able to use the library, which has a large collection of books and journals, as well as different areas for group work and individual study. There is also plenty of IT equipment for use.
About this course
There are no formal entry requirements, however, you will need to demonstrate a commitment and ability to study at this level, and take a literacy test before we can offer you a place. GCSE Maths and English are preferred for entry to the course but level 2 English and Maths can be studied alongside your course. If you undertake L3 Chemistry, Computing, Maths or Physics as part of your course you are required to have achieved GCSE Maths Grade C (4) or above prior to you starting your studies.
