By the end of the course, candidates will be able to plan and conduct basic (low risk) search operations for: Person Search Vehicle Search Building Search Key Point and Area Search Have an understanding of the Threat and the Method of operations used by terrorists and response to these threats including: Person borne IED's (Suicide bombers) Vehicle borne IED's (Car bombs) Suspect packages Postal devices Telephone bomb threats. Suitable for: All personnel and industries where Searches of people, baggage, vehicles, buildings (single rooms, hotels, hospitals, venues, sports stadiums, etc), large areas (company sites, hospital grounds etc). Primarily designed for Security staff, it is also suitable for hospital staff, Care homes, office staff and anyone else with a search requirement.

Anthony served with the Royal Engineers for 25 years and completed his service as the Senior Military Instructor at the National Search Centre. A qualified DfT approved Aviation Security instructor, Anthony is a council member for the Institute of Munitions Clearance and Search Engineers (IMCSE). Anthony was instrumental in the development of VQ's for Search and Security Search.
