Four Week Floristry Career Course

Whether you have previous floristry experience or not, (and believe us when we say we have had students with next to no experience) we are here to guide you through an amazing four weeks. All we ask is that you bring your enthusiasm and passion and we will match it with our experience and patience. Like students before you, you will leave the course equipped to take on whatever challenge you have set yourself...

The cost of the course is £3500. This fee includes all the flowers and materials needed to complete the four week course.....

Week 1

The first week covers all aspects of retail floristry from colour design and proportion, ordering , costing and conditioning through to the practical hands on (the best bit!) of hand-tied bouquets, vase arrangements, oasis work, funeral pieces and window dressing.

Week 2

The second week is all about wedding flowers. From bridal consultations, costings and quotations through to buttonholes, corsages bridal bouquets, church flowers, venue dressing and oodles of inspirational ideas for you begin designing your own wedding flowers.... (for those impatient and excitable florists among you fast forward to week 4!)

Week 3

Week three sees us look to event and corporate work. How to quote and cost for a large event and how to pitch and win the deal!

We step away from the practical and concentrate on business exploring branding, marketing, advertising initial business set-up and of course building that all important website.

Week 4

Week four is all about your final interpretation, you will design and create your very own wedding flowers!

We will guide you through the process from mood boards, costing and ordering to producing four floral designs.

You will be awarded a certificate on completion of the course.
