IT Level 2 - Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Presentations, Imroving Productivity by using IT/The Information Technology Qualification (ITQ) is a new qualification based on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) platform. It is based on the incorporation of the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL), and is aimed at getting the IT beginner up to speed with many commonly used packages and situations. It is based around a flexible 'pick and mix' structure, where learners can choose which of the many available units they need, based on their own requirements. More than 65,000 people in this country have now registered for ITQ.
