TLE was established in May 1998 and is now one of the leading providers of courses and consulting services across a number of regions. Back in 1998 TLE started up with just one learning centre, located in East London, but due to continually increasing learner achievements, exceptional learner success rates and perpetual quality improvement TLE has thrived and developed significantly, and now boasts 15 learning centres operating within the regions of London, the South East and the West Midlands, with more due to open very soon in the London region. TLE – The Leading Edge, offers free courses and international NVQ training in areas of English, Mathematics, I.T. (ECDL), Management, Business Administration, Team Leading and Customer Service.
The courses are funded by the British government and the European Social Fund. After completing each course our students receive a certificate confirming the qualification achieved and issued by British awarding bodies – OCR (Oxford-Cambridge-RSA) and BCS (British Computer Society). The courses allow you to study ether at home or in one of our centres. Professional teachers are helping the learners to follow their individual learning plans. Employability sessions, organized by the centre, will help you to create a perfect CV, cover letter and will provide you with techniques to be used during job interviews. The courses will benefit you with practical skills within this area. After finishing the courses there is a possibility of taking part in an office-based and customer service orientated internship. The internship is followed by granting references. It may also result in a job opportunity.
