All lessons will take place in the classroom. There is a lot of group-work involved.

This is a fun, non-qualification course, so there is no assessment or exam.

How much will it cost?
If you are a home student, unemployed and claiming an Active State Benefit, you pay a discounted cost. All other people pay the full cost.
How do I enrol?
You can enrol at certain times throughout the year by telephoning 020 7613 9116. Check our website www.hackney.ac.uk for details of when you can enrol by phone. You can also enrol in person at the Shoreditch Campus during term time, in rooms A212/A214, Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm. Please ring 020 7613 9350/9208 for further enrolment details.

Support for you
Before you start your lessons, you’ll take part in induction sessions, where you’ll meet other students and find out all about the support that’s available to you. This includes learning about the Virtual Learning Environment, tutorials and the campus facilities. All students can receive free, confidential and impartial advice on things like: your next step in education or your career, finance, housing, health, immigration, benefit claims, legal problems, sexual health, drugs, staying safe, personal / emotional concerns and other issues.
