Objectives:

This course is for students who have finished the level Elémentaire 4 or have just started or finished the level Intermédiaire 1.

This course aims to consolidate and develop the students’ listening skills and build up their confidence in their speaking skills.

Course organisation:

It will include :

- phonetic and pronunciation exercises (mostly done in the language laboratory),

- listening exercises (in class or in the language laboratory),

- pairs activities where students will ask and give information to each other on different topics,

- role-plays covering basic and everyday life situations (shopping, booking, etc),

- simple discussions on basic topics (work, family, leisure, etc)

- very short presentations
